Couponing is a pretty big deal these days. The less-than-stellar state of the economy as a lot to do with it. Another factor is that saving money is always fun when you don’t have to sacrifice quality for what you want. I’ve located three great places around Atlanta to pick up coupons towards organic and eco-friendly products.
- Harry’s Farmer’s Market in Marietta rides under the title of Whole Foods but it is much larger than many locations in town and–maybe it’s just me–the prices seem lower at this location than elsewhere. I like the stands perched near the doorway. There are about half a dozen free publications on healthy living and sustainable practices available. Quite a few publications have pages of coupons for discounts on items that I use everyday.
- Life Grocery and Cafe My friend Shannon brought my attention to this cozy location. The staff at the cafe is ultra friendly and I the food selection is delicious. Inside the store, you can find magazines similar to the publications at Whole Foods or you can search the Co-op deals online.
- Never underestimate the joys of manufacturer’s coupons. These are great when you know exactly what you need. Go to the manufacturer’s website and browse around for “discounts,” “savings,” “promotions,” “coupons,” etc.
